Great book
Review date: 2009-08-07 Rating: 10 out of 10
Here you get 404 pages describing just about every Ferrari ever made (up to 2004 anyway). It features two pages per car - the left page has a monochrome photo of the car, plus summary and technical specifications; the right page has a side-on painting of the car, plus the car's history and achievements.
The table of contents at the front is very nice. It provides the painting of each car, its name, year and type (F2, F2, GT, Sport, etc). The index at the back is comprehensive, though the book is devoted to the cars, not the company history or people.
While it contains a lot of information, it is not a coffee table book. The photos are small, and the illustrations are (to my eye anyway) a bit sketchy. To be fair though, the introduction does refer to them as sketches.
It was formerly published (in Italian I think) as "Tutto Ferrari" in 2004.
Reviews
Ferrari : All the carsReview date: 2009-08-05 Rating: 10 out of 10A brilliant book. For my purpose it could not be bettered. I needed a handy Ferrari referance book of every car ever made to help with various model making projects. This book fitted the bill to a T. I was amazed by the quality of the photos/drawings aswell as by the information on the cars. The price too is astounding. Highly recommended to all. An amazing book!
